| FEEL THE VIBE (REMIX) - FOUL PLAY - OBLIVION (OR002) | DOWNLOAD | |||

Foul Play are arguably one of the best oldskool artists of all time. This is one of their earlier releases, in fact the remix of a a tune off their first release on Oblivion. With the memorable "feel the vibe" sample breaking down into a wicked piano riff this was one of the tunes of 92. The 12" is well worth checking out for the Richochet remix, equally as wicked but not played out to the same degree as Feel the Vibe.

Well 92 can't have spawned much bigger anthems than this tune. This is the Simply Rollin remix. A little bit more laid back a little bit meaner and a little bit more bass but bascially sticking true to the original "What's my code" (which was repressed in 2001 - if your looking for a copy). This can't have been released before tapes/destroy ADV003 and ADV004 - anyone out there know how it picked up ADV001 catelogue number?

Oh well I lied cause this is the biggest, most classic tune from 1992. On everyone's wants list and regularly goes on E-Bay for £40+. If you can't pay that kinda dosh for a tune then check it out on one of the Slammin Vinyl oldskool compilations. Tune received a wicked remix by Mickey Finn which features one of the best B-lines of all time - it was a hard choice to decide which version went up but this one just won it for me.
| SET ME FREE (REMIX) - NOISE FACTORY - 3RD PARTY (3RD#2) | ||||
![]() |
A remix of Set me Free that first appeared on Noise Factory's Ibiza Label. This is a piece of genius creating an uplifting and happy tune but retaining a hardcore sound and without tending to cheese in any way. The Fire and Skin teeth on the flip make this 12" one of the best around - neither though capture the the hard edge of set me free sounding a little like very early happy hardcore. Watch the B-line, rolling at ya relentlessly throughout the tune.
| ROCK TO THE MAX - ELLIS DEE PROJECT - LSD (LSD001) | DOWNLOAD | |||

Ellis Dee ranks right up there with the best oldskool producers. Following on from his work on the Rhythm Section label he branched out on his own Ellis Dee Project label though 92 producing some great tunes. While Dance Factor on LSD002 ventures into the more dark and nasty and Desire sounds later 92 Rock to the Max is one to put your hands in the air to and put a smile on your face. In case you enjoy the vinyl enough to want to find a copy it is ultra rare (but there are rumours of a repress!!)
| DICK TURPIN EP - FLEX AND UNCLE - U NO DAT (UG06) | DOWNLOAD | |||

A tune that got massive play time back in the day but has fallen into obscurity in current time. Why I don't know cause its an awesome tune. When we first played this in the early days of Monday Madness even the peeps who really know their tunes were struggling to ID this one. If you don't know the label be sure to check out anything else you see on it - most tunes were Pukka - Cool Hand Flex having had a hand in the production on most of them - though they are generally harder than the outing.

You may not know the name but you have definitely have heard this one. With the vocal sample "We are about to take LSD" and therefore cained by Ellis Dee many a time as part of his sets. I was quite suprised to find out a while ago that this tune is only 128bpm which would place it firmly in 1991 but it was still getting major play through 92 even when tunes had sped up to 145bpm mark. One of the tunes that can put gooze bumps on me instantly.
